What a lovely hotel, ideally placed for Whitby, short walk in. We were lucky to be upgraded to a suite overlooking the sea and golf course. Breakfast was wonderful, freshly cooked, hot and tasty, coffee was excellent. We booked for Sunday lunch, we had the 3 meat special, so glad we didn't order starters, the main meal was more than enough. Staff were excellent, great service throughout.
Having just returned from.a few days at The White House, we would like to say how very pleased we were with everything the hotel had to offer. To be greeted in the dismal weather ,by a beautiful decorated room, which was warm.and very welcoming. All the staff were so kind ,with help.during booking and had a smiling face on arrival. Thank you for a lovely weekend. We would recommend you everything.

Lovely, comfortable hotel with friendly, welcoming staff, great food and service, not to mention a fantastic view of the sea from the dining room! This was our 4th time visiting and is the only place we'll stay at in Whitby. You can be sure we'll be back again! Thank you once again for a lovely stay!
Excellent in most ways staff rooms food cleanliness I just wondered if grab handle could be installed in the bathroom. I had difficulty getting into the bath to use the over bath shower.
Had a beautiful meal here today with my son and husband, highly recommend, lovely staff and food , beautiful pub over looking the bay , amazing selection of drinks. Had chicken parmo which is the best I've ever had. Looking forward to returning
We sat here on a few evenings in October we were blessed by a calm sunny week so sat in the beer garden we ate here on 2 occasions and couldn't fault the pub grub
Nice pub located right at the top of Whitby with a great view of the sea. Not stayed in the hotel.
Stayed here for one night last Sunday. Our room was clean and well presented and we had a balcony so were able to enjoy a morning coffee overlooking the golf course and the sea. We enjoyed a drink in the bar and had breakfast here and both were very enjoyable. Would recommend.
We stopped off at The White House Inn for some lunch. The food was good we both got the burger. Lovely staff who worked there too very friendly and welcoming!
